The Kalasha International  Film & TV awards are an initiative aimed at promoting the local film industry.

The 2017 jury is comprised of scholars and film makers alike who are practicing in various capacities. The integrity of the awards is entrenched within the professionalism and ethical values of the Nomination Academy. The Kalasha Awards nomination academy members are picked from various film associations and must be persons of high integrity with a proven track record in the film industry especially in the production area.
