The Technical University of Kenya and its predecessor institutions (The Kenya Polytechnic and The Kenya Polytechnic University College) have excelled in technological education and training at all levels from technician to technologists and engineers. In this pursuit therefore, the University offers opportunities for upgrading training that recognizes credit transfer from one level to another. Holders of diplomas and higher diplomas can attain bachelor’s degree qualification which will in turn enable them pursue postgraduate studies.

Pursuant to the above, TUK invites KCSE graduates, holders of Diploma in Technology, and Higher Diploma in Technology to pursue studies leading to Certificates, Diplomas and Bachelors degree qualifications in the respective areas of study.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Please read the following application guidelines carefully before you apply:
Applications    for    the    Courses    above    should    be    made    by    printing    and    completing    application
form    available    on    Website    www.tukenya.ac.ke/admission
The    application    form    should    be    accompanied    by    copies    of    ACADEMIC    CERTIFICATES,    ID    CARD
and    a    bank    deposit    slip    of    NON-REFUNDABLE    APPLICATION    FEES    of    Ksh    2,    000.
Selection    will    be    conducted    by    the    Senate.    List    of    successful    applicants    will    be    published
on    university    website    from    where    the    admission    offer    letters    (calling    letter    and    the    joining
instructions)    should    be    downloaded.    Those    given    admission    offers    should    submit    completed
joining    Instruction    together    with    bank-pay    in    slip    for    the    full    semester    fees    to    the    admissions
office    during    registration.
The    successful    applicants    will    be    expected    to    pay    the    FULL TUITION FEES FOR THE
SEMESTER and    the    following    statutory fees*:    Registration    Kshs.    2,000;    Library    Kshs.
3,000;    Medical    Ksh.    2,000;    Examination    Ksh.    5,000;    Computer    Ksh.    5,000;    Activity    Ksh.
1,000;    Insurance    Ksh.    500;    Student    Union    Ksh.    500;    Maintenance    Ksh.    400;    Sports    Ksh.
500.    Refundable    Caution    Money    Ksh    2,000.    Industry    Based    Learning    Fees    Ksh.    1,350    IBL
administrative    fees.    No cash or cheque payments will    be    accepted    at    the    University.

This is a institution that caters good education level

I got a c- in my examination and I wanted to study electrical engineering starting with a diploma is it possible please

I got a B- and had a D plain in mathematics while english a C+ is it possible for me to study diploma in DBIT at your campus.

I APLIED FOR MODULE 2 SEPTEMBER INTAKE YET I HVE NOT RECEIVED THE APPLICATION FORM AND GOT A B MINUS MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
