Release of November 2019 Results and Registration Of Candidates For
March 2020 Examinations and Referrals
1.0 RELEASE OF THE NOVEMBER 2023 BUSINESS AND TECHNICAL EXAMINATIONS RESULTS
The results for November 2019 Business and Technical Examinations have been released. Colleges are advised to collect the result printout from KNEC offices in New Mitihani house, South C, during working hours.
2.0 REGISTRATION FOR MARCH 2020 BUSINESS AND TECHNICAL EXAMINATIONS
2.1 The system for registration of candidates for the March 2020 Business and Technical examinations is open and will close on 7th February, 2020.
2.2 Registration is done online and is accessible through the KNEC Website on the following link. http://registration.KNEC.ac.ke/online. Candidates must adhere to all the instructions in the registration circular Ref: KNEC/GEN/EA/PM/TE/BE/2019/01.
2.3 A passport size photograph for each candidate must be uploaded onto the online system to complete the registration exercise.
2.4 A hard copy of the registration data and fee payment summary should be printed from the online system then verified, signed and stamped. This has to be submitted to KNEC with the required registration documents and bank deposit slips within the registration period.
3.0 REGISTRATION FOR NOVEMBER 2019 REFERAL PAPER(S)
3.1 Those candidates who sat for November 2019 Business and Technical examinations and were referred in either one or two papers are allowed to register for March 2020 examination.
3.2 The registration for these should be done between 20th January and 7th February, 2020.
4.0 REGISTRATION FOR PHASED OUT PROGRAMS
4.1 Those candidates who sat for courses in Technical Education Programme (TEP) which were phased out and replaced with new TVET modular programmes and were referred in either one or two papers are allowed to register provided that they have not attempted in more than five years. Note: This will also apply in the next two subsequent examination series only.
5.0 REGISTRATION OF UNQUALIFIED CANDIDATES/EXAMINATION MALPRACTICES
5.1 Colleges are reminded that qualification of students should be strictly checked during admission for training and registration. Registering unqualified students for examination is an irregularity and may lead to deregistration of an examination centre. The unqualified students will be automatically deleted from KNEC system without reference to the institution.
5.2 Institutions registering for Single and Group examinations should attach the lower qualifications for the subjects registered and submit to KNEC together with other registration documents referred to in 2.4 above.
5.3 Institutions are required to sensitize their candidates on examination regulations. Centres that get involved in examination malpractices will be deregistered.
6.0 PAYMENT OF FEES
6.1 All institutions registering candidates will generate a bill online for the keyed in candidates on the platform and present it to either Kenya Commercial Bank, National Bank of Kenya Equity Bank or Co-operative Bank of Kenya for payment.
7.0 NOTE
Registration Dates have to be adhered to as NO candidate will be registered after Friday 7th February, 2020.
