BURN designs, manufactures, and distributes inspirational fuel-efficient cooking products that save lives and forests in the developing world. BURN has revolutionized the global cook stove sector by proving the business case for selling a high quality, locally manufactured and subsidized cook stoves. Since 2013, BURN has sold 350,000 high-quality, locally manufactured and subsidized improved cook stoves in Africa.

These stoves have helped 1,500,000+ beneficiaries save $45 million in fuel expenditures while reducing indoor air pollution by 65%. BURN currently sells ~12,000 stoves per month and intend to double sales over the next 12 months. We are looking for a Country Manager to increase our sales in the Somali region, implement marketing campaigns, manage an office and local sales staff. This person needs to have sales and operations experience, multilingual, and familiar with local and western business practices.

1. Client Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to grow existing wholesale clients of BURN’s improved cookstoves. The Account Manager will be responsible for selling to BURN’s existing distributors such as private trading companies, social enterprises, NGO’s, third party E-commerce platforms.

The position will involve account management; sales; building client relationships; payment collections; working with clients on their sales & distribution strategy; developing joint marketing plans with clients; training management and client’s staff on BURN products. This is an Account Management position; we are seeking a farmer who can grow existing clients, not a hunter.
